At GeerGarage, we understand that circumstances can change and you may need to cancel a rental booking. To ensure that our rental cancellation policy is clear and transparent, we have outlined the key parts below.

Cancellations by the Lender

If a lender cancels a rental booking, the renter will receive a full refund, including any fees paid. We understand that unexpected issues can arise, and we aim to provide a fair and straightforward resolution for both parties.

Renter Cancellations 2 Days or More in Advance

If you cancel your rental booking at least 2 days before the rental period starts, you will receive a full refund, including any fees paid.

Cancellations Between 2 and 1 Day Prior

If you cancel your rental booking between 2 and 1 day prior to the rental start date, you will receive a 70% refund of the rental price, excluding the GeerGarage service fee. The service fee is non-refundable and covers the costs associated with processing your booking and providing customer support.

No Refunds After Rental Period Starts

Once the rental period has started, rentals are no longer refundable. This is because the lender has reserved the item for your exclusive use, and we cannot offer it to other customers.

Refund Processing Time

We will process your refund as soon as possible after receiving your cancellation request. The processing time may vary depending on your payment method and bank processing times.
